If you’re in your 20s or 30s this is for you!

Imagine Slovakia leading England 1-0 with just ten minutes to go. Feeling secure their coach pulls off two star players – Duda and Kucka to give them a rest. Big mistake! Because England equalizes and goes on to win in extra time.

Think about your own life. Imagine resting just before you study the chapter that shows up on your exam. Abandoning a new skill right before your breakthrough moment. Or missing out on a dream opportunity because that was the day you decided to take a break.

I get it. The coach wanted to rest his players. But in those crucial moments you play until the final whistle. Till your legs can’t run. Till you have no air in your lungs. You push through exhaustion because the rewards are sweeter on the other side.

And that’s my definition of our 20s and 30s. These are the decades to build your foundation, chase dreams, and fight for what you want. There will be times to rest. But right now it’s about pushing through the temporary discomfort for long-term gain.

Duda and Kucka probably didn’t sleep well that night. Just like there’s no peace for those who quit prematurely in life.

My mum used to ask me a powerful question: “What would you be doing after the exam?”

Now I ask you: What will you be doing after your 20s and 30s?

Rest is sweet after victory, bitter after defeat. So let’s keep going until we win. And not a second less.

And I’ll see you at the top, my friend.

Till the top,

G.
